Sacramental Preparation / First Holy Communion
The First Holy Communion means first and solemn reception of the sacrament of the Eucharist, which is the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. This event is very important for the Parish, as the Eucharist is one of the central focuses of the Catholic Church. It is the primary duty of parents and of the priest to ensure that children are properly prepared for the Holy Communion.
Parents of children from our Parish who wish their child to make his (her) First Holy Communion need to see Father Kazimierz before the end of October 2010. They should fill in the Request Form for Sacramental Preparation and bring the Baptismal Remembrance.
Children have their preparation before FHC the Parish Hall. The exact dates are given in the Parish's Bulletin.
Next year, 2012, First Holy Communion took place on Sunday, 27 May.
