CHILDREN'S LITURGY starts next Sunday 12th September. Please Note that on Sunday 19th Sept. as there is NO Mass at 10.00am there will be no Children's Liturgy.

OUR TUESDAY CLUB will start again on September 14th, 1.30pm until 3.30pm. Everyone welcome.

GENTLE KEEP-FIT in our hall every Tuesday, 11.00am until 12 noon. If you wish to join, just turn up, you will be made very welcome.

FUND RAISING - Please note that the AUCTION announced in last week's bulletin will now take place on Friday 1st October, not 8th Oct. This is because the well-known Wolverhampton person who is going to open it is only available on that date. If you have anything you can donate to this auction could you please give to one of the priests.

THE NEW HYMNBOOKS which have now arrived will be put in use as soon as the dedications have been put in them.

MANY HAPPY RETURNS OF THE DAY to Father Michal whose birthday is on Saturday.

MASS INTENTIONS - If you wish for a Mass to be said for either a relative or friend, living or deceased, please see one of the priests.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ON SUNDAY 19TH SEPTEMBER THERE WILL ONLY BE THE 11.30am MASS said here as it is the day of the Pope's Visit, and Father Kazimierz will be the only priest available to say Mass here, at St. Teresa's and Saint Joseph's. The Saturday evening Mass will be as usual.

WE AT SS. MARY & JOHN'S have a special connexion with BLESSED JOHN HENRY NEWMAN, for he presided as Cardinal at the Opening of our Chancel in June 1880. He was then 79, and had been made Cardinal just a year before, in May 1879. He was received with great joy, and he spoke very warmly at the celebratory luncheon afterwards.

PAPAL VISIT will all pilgrims who are going to the Mass at Cofton Park, please collect your pilgrim packs at the back of the Church. These can only be given to those who have paid the £25 required. If you have not yet paid, could you please do so today.
PLEASE NOTE you will need to be at St. Patrick's Church, at 5.00am on 19th Sept. You will be given your passes and identification bracelets when you arrive.
You will also need to carry with you some identification with a photograph on, e.g. passport, as these will have to be shown at the gate.
If possible, can you be dropped off at St. Patrick's. If you are using your car, could you please include other pilgrims, as we need to reduce the number of cars parked at St. Patrick's as they will be there all day. The return times from Cofton Park has to be staggered, so our Deanery coaches will be leaving there at 5.30pm. There will be more information in your Pilgrim Packs - so please read thoroughly.

Please do not leave handbags unattended - sadly not everyone may be in church for the same reason you are.
