The person with the number of the bonus ball drawn on Saturdays, will receive £25. This means that £24 will go towards Church Maintenance.
THE NEXT PARISH OUTING will be to Llandudno, on Bank Holiday Monday, August 27th. If you wish to go, please sign your name on the list at the back of the Church. A deposit of £5 each, would be appreciated. The cost of the outing will be determined on the number of people on the coach.

FEAST OF THE WEEK
OUR LADY OF MOUNT CARMEL (Monday) - The Carmelite Order began in 1156 AD, when a group of hermits settled on Mount Carmel in the Holy Land. They originally kept the Assumption as their Patronal Feast. The Order flourished especially in England where the English congregation was accepted formally by 1229AD. Pope Honorius III gave formal approbation of the Carmelite Rule in 1226, on 16th July, and gradually the custom arose, originally in England, of celebrating this day as the feast of Carmel. One of the great early saints was St Simon Stock, a member of the English Congregation. Remember today a prayer for our Carmelites in Penn Fields, who have given up their lives to pray continuously for us and for the Church. Our Lady of Mount Carmel, pray for us.
